Since each successful project has
certain elements in common, a basic outline has
been developed to provide a clear path from which
the design process evolves. The outline includes:
1. Programming/Feasibility Phase:
Establishing goals, analyzing space requirements
and reviewing cost/budget relationships.
2. Schematic Design Phase:
Development and evaluation of design schemes/sketches
and alternate solutions that best meet the needs
of budget, functionality, livability, and aesthetic.
3. Design Development Phase: Further refinement
of design schemes and development of scale plans,
elevations, sections, and perspectives to best
communicate design intent to ensure a satisfactory
project and development process.
